Just moved back to Dallas after 26 years and was looking for a good Chinese dine-in restaurant. I had lunch at Howard Wang's today and immediately fell in love. Ambiance was a great vibe - low volume smooth jazz that allowed for quiet conversation. Food actually had AMAZING flavor (we just moved back from Boca Raton FL where I call everything Boca Bland). Rare to find a Chinese restaurant that has it all. The flavors were amazing, the service excellent, and a cozy atmosphere. Loved the soft jazz being played. We had the chicken in orange sauce, and chicken in garlic sauce. They are my usual go to items in many restaurants, and Howard Wangs makes it top notch. This was my first visit, but sure wont be my last. Think this will be a weekly addiction!

I love Howard Wangs. Everything is good. Our server was so nice and on top of it. We went on a Sunday and they have lunch specials available. That's unusual. I had the moo goo gai pan. It's so delicious. Came with spring roll and soup. I had hot and sour, which is really good. Hubby had orange chicken and wonton soup. The wonton soup is impressive.
